Just got laid off from the company I worked at for a year and a few months. When I started the company was doing very well and was pretty busy, but in the last four months they haven't had a single sale so being the least senior person at the company i was the first to be dropped. Looks like I'll be starting a job hunt tomorrow, hopefully I'll find something in the automotive industry.

Im in the same boat. Worked 60 hours a week. Now im on my ass. I am honestly taking my sweet time to find something nice this time. I don't need the freaking stress anymore.

Yeah I'm definitely push for something in a field I care about more. Honestly though I knew this was coming I just didn't think so soon, our engineering department has been kind of stagnating for a while and switched from designing stuff for production to pure R&D I knew something was up.

Same thing happened to me in October. Luckily was able to bounce back quick and love my new job!

So go home have a beer shake it off and get back up you'll be just fine.
